The Powell's had annual family reunions which were held in El Reno on the family homestead. It was an event anticipated by all ages. Food and fellowship flowed and all rejoiced together.
The Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration of Goss and Jessie Powell was among the last of these family gatherings.
Then there were gatherings for funerals. Meeting in sorrow, yet taking comfort in memories and fellowship. |
